23. The licence issue and maintenance committee, as the delegatee of the functions and powers under sections 37 to 39 and 41 of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (chapter C-73.2), is composed of at least 3 and not more than 9 members, including a chair, appointed by the board of directors of the Organization for a term of 3 years.
The board of directors may appoint 1 or more vice-chairs.
At the end of their term, the members remain in office until they are replaced, dismissed or reappointed, or until they resign. A matter referred to a committee member who is later replaced or resigns may continue to be dealt with by the member.
